About Us
The Greater Providence church of Christ is a non-denominational, non-institutional congregation of believers in Christ. We pattern ourselves on scripture, striving to be the church that God established - the same church you can find in the New Testament.
The only spiritual authority we recognize is Christ (Ephesians 1:22-23; 4:14-16; 5:23).
Our congregation is diverse and well rounded, with members from all walks of life. Our members participate in a wide range of classes and groups including; small group home Bible studies, gospel meetings, and other informal, social opportunities for fellowship. We strive to be welcoming and friendly to all.
We have regular times of worship and Bible classes for all ages, we observe the Lord's supper, or communion, on the first day of the week (Acts 20:7), we contribute to the work of the church (1 Corinthians 16:2), and we participate in congregational singing without instrumentation.
Our Location
We meet at 1873 Old Louisquisset Pike, Lincoln, RI 02865 on the second floor of the Blackstone Historical Society.
Children’s Bible classes are held downstairs.
Parking is available in the lot and on the street.
