About Us

The Greater Providence church of Christ is a non-denominational, non-institutional congregation of believers in Christ. We pattern ourselves on scripture, striving to be the church that God established - the same church you can find in the New Testament.

The only spiritual authority we recognize is Christ (Ephesians 1:22-23; 4:14-16; 5:23).

Our congregation is diverse and well rounded, with members from all walks of life. Our members participate in a wide range of Bible classes and groups including: small group home Bible studies, gospel meetings, and individual studies. We strive to be welcoming and friendly to all.

We have regular times of worship and Bible classes for all ages, we observe the Lord's supper, or communion, on the first day of the week (Acts 20:7), we contribute to the work of the church (1 Corinthians 16:2), and we participate in congregational singing without instrumentation.
